Devotional Singing (Bhajans)
The devotional singing (Bhajans) are held every Sunday at the Centre premises which caters with the facility for all congregational members to sing in unison with the help of a lead singer. The bhajan renditions could become absolutely emotive when the devotees endeavor to reach up to Swami with total surrender and faith. It is a time for every devotee to communicate personally with the Lord and enjoy the bliss of internalizing divinity. The session will end with great relief to the devotees as it could become a catharsis to be relieved from any personal difficulties and problems with a definite feeling that Swami would have heard the petition.
The Bhajan singing come under the per view of the Devotional Coordinator of the Centre who has the responsibility to enlist the lead singers so that they could receive adequate practices prior to the congregational singing. In this way the harmonious melody of the bhajan singing becomes a reality to create tremendous ecstasy in the participants. It is a well known fact that Sai bhajans are very much cherished by many who have had the opportunity to participate in the singing or listen to the songs. Usually the bhajan renditions are accompanied by musical instruments such as the harmonium and the table played by experts. Anyone who is interested to become a lead singer is always welcome to contact the Devotional Coordinator for all arrangements.
Ultimately the bhajan singing is also a family oriented activity as families get into the habit of singing bhajans together in their homes as part of their regular spiritual activity. This renders a lot of joy and happiness to the household people. They could feel that their homes are sanctified with the presence of our Lord.
Benefits of Namasmarana
The recitation of the names of the Lord will help to purify the atmosphere as a result of the sacred sound waves getting absorbed in the atmosphere. The atmosphere that has been polluted by impure sound waves can be purified by the chanting of the Divine Name.
Evil thoughts arising in the mind should be diverted and it should be filled with pure Godly thoughts by reciting the Divine Name.
Everyone participating in Bhajans should sing the name of the Lord and thereby serve to purify the atmosphere and promote the well being the nation.
Those who sing bhajans get what can be called a ‘double promotion’, for they derive joy and distribute joy.
Namasmarana (Chanting the Lord’s name) is a way to earn grace and liberation in Kali Yuga.

"A study circle is not just reading books. Study circle means taking a point and each person discussing what is the meaning of the point to them. Like a round-table conference. Each person gives their point of view, and finally values are derived from this. If there is just reading, there is doubt. But if each one gives his view, doubts will be answered. The topic is viewed; the study circle looks at different facets. It is like a diamond with its different facets, but there is one facet that is flat, the top facet, and from this all can be viewed. To discover the top facet is the task of the study circle."

on Study Circles
Study Circles
Study Circle is an integral part of Sai discipline as it enables an opportunity to have intellectual perceptions after having discussed spiritual topics that could lead towards self-transformation. The topics chosen could be from any of the established religious scriptures or any teachings of great saints or spiritual leaders. Sai literature is a valuable source for selecting topics.
During study circles, a passage can be read from any book and each person can give their own view point on what has been read. Then the next passage can be read. In this way the discussion keeps continuing for a pre-determined amount of time, like 1 or 2 hrs.
